Treasure Hunt by Marcia Derse Essentials

Going on a treasure hunt X marks the spot. A sweet new addition to designer Marcia Derses family brought to the surface this little rhyme she used to sing to her own babies and inspired this collection. The familiar chant guided the rhythm of the patterns and gave her the focus for a feature panel: a map created with new techniques that Ive learned during my recent travels in the pacific northwest. Included in this treasure hunt is a fabric design full of Xs called "X marks the spot", skus inspired by quirky places like mutiny bay and smugglers cove, and the unique feature fabric which uses antique Japanese journal paper, boro paper patching, and deconstructed printing.
